What if every child had a place where they truly belonged?
Camp Gan Israel & Friendship Circle both share a mission — creating a place of joy, friendship, and connection for children and young adults in Ann Arbor.
Yet they also share a challenge:
Neither has a permanent home designed to meet their growing needs.
Together, we can change that.
We’ve identified a building ready to be transformed into a permanent home for these programs – and thanks to a generous lead donor, we’ve already secured $3 million to purchase it.
Now, we need your partnership to bring it to life.
The need is clear.
The impact is life-changing.
Without a permanent space, both programs lack stability and room to grow.
They are forced to waste precious resources on temporary fixes instead of focusing on what matters: children, families, and community.
Your support can:

Expand Camp Gan Israel to serve 150+ campers and offer year-round programs.

Create an accessible, inclusive wing for Friendship Circle that will be a beacon of belonging for families who have long felt left out.

The time is now.
We’ve identified a 19,383 sq. ft. building centrally located in Ann Arbor, and ready to be transformed from empty office space into a vibrant hub of Jewish life, inclusion, and connection.
Be part of something that lasts.
Help build a permanent home for Camp Gan Israel & Friendship Circle — a place where every child, of every ability, feels welcome.
